Smart Score Explained: How We Vet Wallets

What is Smart Score?

Smart Score is our composite 0-100 rating for every wallet on Polymarket. It combines four signals into a single number that tells you whether a wallet is worth following.

The four components

• PnL Quality: Not just raw profit, but risk-adjusted returns and Sharpe ratio
• Win Rate: Percentage of profitable positions, weighted by position size
• Wallet Age: Older wallets with consistent performance score higher
• Wash Filtering: Wallets with suspicious self-trading patterns are penalized

How to use it

Browse the vetted leaderboard, filter by Smart Score, and follow wallets that match your risk profile. When a followed wallet places a trade, you receive an alert and can mirror their position with your own sizing.

Results

In backtesting, following wallets with Smart Score > 85 produced an average Sharpe ratio of 2.1 vs. 0.8 for the median Polymarket trader.
